Structure Of Time: Alan Hilman: Lower and left is my first thoughts with this image. Its not quite there but so close! And again Borders!!!!
HERNE BAY Lu Dunne: 2nd Place Most sunset shots become all about the sky colour but this has interesting silhouetted shapes, almost symmetrical, together with the reflection which lift it.
LANZAROTE : Gwynn Commended Interesting architecture decorated with items designed to draw you inside and part with your money. Despite the main interest being in a straight, horizontal line, the tower lends balance to this scene.
MONTREAL BELLAY, FRANCE: Ken Johnson. A tranquil image with pleasing reflections. A little bright, possibly over exposed but could be improved with post processing which would bring out the detail and texture of the brickwork in the bridge. Cropping out the sky would strengthen the image.
Rosie. They Played Statues. The children are nicely framed by the arch. the resolution of the photo is low. The leaning of the arch due to the angle of the shot draws the eye away from the the subjects which is a shame.
